It was interesting to follow our Prince Edward Island trip with an October 2023 trip to Prince Edward County since the places are similar in more than just name! We were delighted to once again stay at the amazing Wellington Willows Boutique Bed & Breakfast with our delightful hosts David and Esther and their lovable Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Bella, which we have happily known since she arrived home as a puppy. After settling in on Friday, we went to Bloomfield Public House for our first and very tasty PEC dinner.

After another delicious Esther created breakfast on Saturday, we decided to take in the Pumpkinfest celebration and even purchased and donned the requisite pumpkin toque! After that, we picked up the wine that we ordered at Domaine Darius and tried to purchase more from Hubbs Creek which was unfortunately closed. Fortunately, we were able to purchase some Hubbs Creek wine and enjoy some other local wine at decanter – a delightful Wellington boutique and tasting wine bar. Later that evening, we returned to Stella’s Eatery for another delicious meal.

After another delicious breakfast by Esther, we reluctantly said good by to our home away from home for our trip back to Ottawa – to take in the fabulous Taylor Swift film.
